Thanks to a bunch of great friends, I had a totally rad time at the bonvoyage Hula Party. It was held at Toms house two days before my 6am flight to Honolulu on February 24, 2003. |
Skippy visits Honolulu Made it to Honolulu. The weather is great and the plants are tropical, but the urban environment is domintated by asphalt and diesle which destroyed the floral smell of the air which I was lucky to experience on my first visit here in the '70s. |

This is the Dolphin playground and blacksand beach which is 1.5 mile bike ride along a carless coastal road from Kalani. |
In 1999 I went to Hawaii for a seven day adventure at Kalani Oceanside Retreat. I instantly liked the place and found that the volunteers that work at Kalani were on the real adventure. So with our countries current situation caused by dependance on automobiles and corporate greed, my life has lead me to back to Kalani as a volunteer |
